From January 27 to 30, 2024, Mr. Fang Qiuchen, President of the China International Contractors Association, led a research delegation to visit the Lekki Free Trade Zone. During the visit, accompanied by Ms. Yu Xiaohong, Vice President of the China International Contractors Association, and representatives from China Civil Engineering Nigeria Limited, President Fang and his delegation visited Langsung Electric’s Free Trade Zone company to learn more about the company's development and industrial layout.

Earlier, from December 8 to 10, 2023, Ambassador of China to Nigeria, Mr. Yu Dunhai, and Consul General of the Chinese Consulate in Lagos, Mr. Yan Yuqing, led a delegation to visit Langsung Electric for an in-depth inspection. Ambassador Yu highly praised Langsung Electric for its contributions as a Chinese enterprise in Nigeria, especially under the context of deepening China-Nigeria relations. Langsung Electric has actively participated in local economic development and made significant efforts to promote China-Nigeria friendly cooperation.

During the visit, Ambassador Yu noted that the recent state visit of Nigerian President Tinubu to China and his attendance at the China-Africa Cooperation Forum in Beijing, where Chinese leaders jointly announced the elevation of China-Nigeria relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership, marks a new era in bilateral relations. This historic move opens up new opportunities for pragmatic cooperation in areas such as trade, energy, and infrastructure development.
